The Puentes Student Relief Fund is an emergency stipend for Puentes Scholarship recipients who are dealing with an unanticipated life event. Students are able to receive one-time funding for up to $1000.
The intention of this fund is to provide support to a student who is faced with a financial emergency which might otherwise cause the student to stop or pause their educational goals. Awards are given based on need and dependent upon available emergency funds. This award will only be granted after a student has exhausted all other funding options.
The Puentes Program Coordinator and KIPP Through College staff will review your request and email you with an approval or denial within one week. If you are approved, you will be notified of the expected time until you receive your check.
