Program Requirements

Prior to being accepted into the Puentes Scholarship Program, students must sign the Puentes Program Agreement that spells out the program requirements and is proof of committing to the academic standards.

In order to continue receiving financial assistance from the Puentes Scholarship program, students must meet the following requirements:

  • Remain in progress towards a Bachelor’s Degree, Associate’s Degree, or Certification
  • Be enrolled and persisting as full-time without interruption
  • Maintain at least 2.0 cumulative GPA
  • Submit academic transcript at the end of every semester/quarter
  • Meet with a college Academic Advisor once a semester
  • Meet with the Puentes Coordinator once a semester
  • Participate in at least one campus club/group
  • Participate in Puentes programming
  • Demonstrate exceptional character & integrity
