The following is a list of requirements for scholars once a part of the Puentes Program

-Progress towards degree completion

-Full-time status without interruption

-Maintain at least 2.0 cumulative GPA

-Participate in at least one campus club/group

-Participate in Puentes programming

-Demonstrate exceptional character & integrity

Eligibility – To be eligible to receive the Puentes scholarship, applicants must meet the following qualification

–Be a current KIPP Colorado high school senior

–DO NOT qualify for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

-Complete the Colorado Application for State Financial Aid (CASFA)

-Maintain at least 2.0 GPA for both the Fall and Spring of senior year

-Apply to at least 9 colleges 

-Apply to at least 3 additional scholarships

Application Timeline

-Feb 15, 2021 – application opens

-March 26, 2021 – application deadline

-April 12-16, 2021 – interviews

-April 30, 2021 – acceptances announced

-June 30, 2021 – Signed contracts deadline
